It was all about gorgeous hair with a slicked back-vibe for the Zero + Maria Cornejo Spring/Summer 2018 show held at Pier 59 in New York City. Aveda Global Creative Director, Antoinette Beenders created glossy, textured hair to commemorate the journey of the brand’s past 20 years.
Antoinette used Control Force™ Firm Hold Hair Spray for the super slick front; spraying the cult classic onto the hair before carefully combing each strand into place and setting with heat.
Antoinette then referred to her new backstage staple, Texture Tonic to create touchable texture in the back for an uber lux look.
AVEDA ARTIST NYFW TIP: "For effortless, slightly wavy texture, we misted new Texture Tonic on a loose braid in the back and then set with a flat iron. Just before the models walked the runway, we gently shook out each braid,” says Antoinette.
